Dysport FAQ

Your Questions About Dysport Answered

Thinking about Dysport® for smoother, more youthful skin? Here are the most common questions our patients ask. If you don’t see your answer here, we’d be happy to discuss during your complimentary consultation.

Common Questions About Dysport

How does Dysport work?

Dysport is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles. By reducing repetitive movements, it smooths dynamic lines such as frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead wrinkles.

How is Dysport different from Botox® or Xeomin?

All three are neuromodulators, but Dysport diffuses more easily, which can make it ideal for larger areas like the Forehead. Dysport also tends to show results faster (2–3 days vs. 3–7 days for Botox®).

How soon will I see results?

Most patients begin to notice improvement in 2–3 days, with full results in about a week.

How long does Dysport last?

Results typically last 3–4 months, similar to other neuromodulators.

Is Dysport safe?

Yes. Dysport is FDA- and Health Canada-approved, widely studied, and used safely worldwide

Will my face look frozen?

No. At Dermis, treatments are carefully tailored to maintain natural expression while softening lines

What is the recovery time?

Dysport requires little to no downtime. Most patients return to daily activities immediately after treatment.

Can Dysport be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Many patients combine Dysport with Dermal Fillers, Radiesse, or PRP for full facial rejuvenation.
